Bulgaria offers an online Bulgarian as a foreign language course for levels A1 and A2 hosted on an educational platform linked to the Ministry of Education and Science.

What is the online Bulgarian course?
It is an interactive set designed specifically for studying Bulgarian as a foreign language.
The material covers levels A1 and A2 and is organized within a Moodle platform.
The project was developed within the initiative “Equal Access to School Education in Times of Crisis,” funded through the Science and Education for Smart Growth Operational Programme.
18 Learning Modules
The main course contains a total of 18 modules.
Each module includes an introduction to the topic, videos with subtitles, and language exercises.
In total, the main material has approximately 165 exercises .
Workbook and dictionary
In addition to the main course, students can access an electronic workbook.
This material includes 90 additional exercises related to the program’s language content.
There is also an electronic dictionary within the platform to support vocabulary learning.
How do I study?
The platform allows you to use the materials individually.
The course can also be used in teacher-led classes.
The Moodle system includes tools that allow you to review your progress and the results obtained during the activities.
What can I learn in A1 and A2?
These levels are geared towards the basic use of the language in everyday situations.
Students can develop vocabulary, comprehension, grammatical structures, and skills necessary to begin communicating in Bulgarian.
Level A2 allows you to later expand these skills to more varied everyday situations.
Do I need to create an account?
Yes. When trying to access the full course, the platform will ask you to log in.
First-time users can create a username and password to access the learning environment.
