Do I need to take a placement test?
Those who already have some knowledge of Romanian must take an assessment before the start of classes.
The test helps identify the most appropriate level for each student.
The assessment may include a written and an oral component.
Complete students can access the beginner level when a group is available.
Is the course free?
No. Courses organized directly by the Romanian Cultural Institute have a participation fee.
The price may change between sessions.
In one of the 2026 sessions, the published price was 1,000 lei for a 40-hour module.
For this reason, it is always advisable to check the current fee before completing your registration.
What does the fee include?
The fee covers the classes for the module and the materials used during the course.
When applicable, it may also include the placement test.
Do I receive a certificate upon completion?
At the end of the module, participants receive a diploma indicating the level and duration of the course.
This diploma certifies participation in the program.
It should not be confused with an official language proficiency certificate that may be required for certain procedures.
